One of the main motivators for putting together this Blog was to dispel some of the myths that prevail in the fitness and rehabilitation industry. As you will learn, to achieve a healthy back requires a balance of core, abdominal and hip/pelvic stabilization. If you take the time to stretch daily, walk, make some modifications to your diet and follow this program you will be stronger and more fit. Without proper muscular balance, muscular fitness (endurance), cardiovascular fitness and the general benefits of just moving, no program will work. Wellness is a lifestyle. Please be self-informed on your health, beware of gimmicks, do not be afraid to ask questions and by all means make positive changes that will empower you from within.
I have a Bachelors in Sports Medicine and I am Certified as a Licensed Athletic Trainer and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and also a Paramedic. With over 12 years of clinical Sports Medicine and Spine Rehabilitation experience I moved into the world of personal fitness and Postural Correction. With a love of the spine and all it’s complexities I enjoy integrating postural correction into exercise and fitness. I am also a highly skilled soft tissue practitioner specializing in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point and movement based releases.
Education is the key to helping my clients succeed. From Professional Athletes to CEO’s to individuals requiring Spinal Stabilization, understanding of your body is one of the keys to success. I pride myself on exciting lectures and developing ‘out of the box’ protocols for individuals and organizations to help them meet and achieve their goals.
By integrating Health, Nutrition, Wellness, Stress Reduction, Fitness and Biomechanical Testing into all my programs I am able to help your body change and your mind grow.
